Jewish Heritage's Executive Director, Alan
Adelson, has published widely in the realm of Holocaust
literature, having compiled and edited the widely utilized and
acclaimed "Lodz Ghetto: Inside a Community Under
Siege,” (Viking/Penguin) and "The Diary of Dawid
Sierakowiak," (Oxford University Press), currently
available in seven international editions.
Adelson was co-director and producer of the
internationally acclaimed Holocaust documentary, Lodz Ghetto,
winner of the International Film Critics Prize and a PBS
Holocaust Remembrance national special broadcast.
The film has been translated into many
languages and broadcast aswell as shown in theaters around the
world.
Adelson also served as the European
Production Coordinator for the Academy Award-winning Holocaust
documentary, One Survivor Remembers, which was co-sponsored by
the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and HBO.
